It was a great pleasure to see the movie, having already seen the stage performance. It was very uplifting, pure enjoyment, ligh hearted and thoroughly entertaining. Was surprised that Merle Streep could sing. The settings were enjoyable. Nine of us went to see the show and will be seeing it over and over, including in the future purchasing the DVD for more fun. Go see it everyone.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
