This movie was wonderful to bring my kids to ranging in age from 5-12. There were many similarities between this one and TS2 however. I would have liked more diversity.
It was terribly emotional as we said goodbye to Andy as it brought back fond memories of my 2-year old son being infatuated with TS as a small child and needing to bring his Buzz everywhere. Reliving those memories through TS3 was both painful and heart-warming.
I would recommend this movie but felt it was not as good as either of its predecessors.
This movie showed exactly how I do NOT want to raise my kids, and pray that they would never demonstrate the characteristics and behaviors by any of the characters in the movie, with the possible exception of Rowley. The lead character had such an overly-inflated ego problem, and truly believed he was far better than he was. There were several examples of bullying which were almost never dealt with, and potty behavior condoned by parents at the dinner table. Have you ever????!!!
This movie was entertaining to all four of my children, ranging in age from four to almost twelve. There was no foul language, and the only romantic content was brief kissing. The movie was funny and entertaining and my nine-year old especially liked seeing "people" she had studied at school come to life with people from today.
The movie teaches a wonderful lesson to all, both young and mature while entertaining. The links to kung fu movies of the 70's is entertaining to those who remember them, and my children who range in age from 3 to almost 11 all loved it.
Loved the movie! Very romantic and predictable, but delightful and funny along the way. The scenery was beautiful, theme whimsical. Unncessary bad language at times, but definitely appropriate for those over 13. Would love to see it again. If you liked 27 Dresses, you will love this movie!
