great special effects - gives you great beginning for this amazing franchise - casting is extraordinary - you feel like you know these people and they feel real - even the young chekhov is unbelievable - story holds up but it is a little hokey how kirk finds old spock - other than that - truly fantastic and will be one of many more - cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
