I'd seen the stage production in London and Chicago so it was great fun to see the movie done so well! Meryl Streep was brilliant; Colin Firth is charming; Julie Waters was perfect...and Pierce Brosnan was fine, even if some didn't like his voice (the character isn't supposed to be a great singer, he's supposed to be a real guy). So grab your best friends and go see it with them...the music alone makes it fun!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Awesome movie! RD, Jr. was looking a little like Al Pacino...but he worked it! Jeff Bridges was a believable bad guy!
