After so many years without Mulder and Scully, it was good to see them paired again. I liked how they didn't start the movie where the couple left the show, but aside from a few other points, I'd have to agree that it felt like an overlong TV episode. I definitely think this one was suited more to the small screen.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Best of the Blockbusters

I've been a fan of the old school Batman. The one who's good, but not too good. This Batman brings that back. Heath Ledger gives a stunningly brilliant performance as the Joker, the perfect foil for Batman, pushing him to the edge. The action in this is fantastic, and even though the movie is a bit long at 2 1/2 hours, you won't even notice. Definitely the MUST SEE movie of the year!

Must See Summer Blockbuster

I had high hopes for this movie going in, and wasn't disappointed. There was no underlying plot or sparkling wit...it was simply fun. There was action, true humor, and honest emotion. The effects were incredible; not just the albino dinosaur, but the magnetic rocks were awesome. It's a world within a world they visit, and they take you with them. Fantastic movie, and I highly recommend it!!

Pixar Does It Again

Pixar's digital brilliance helps this movie to shine. Some of the robots are just lovable, and the effects are excellent! The storyline pushed it over the top, especially the underlying message: how even though humanity made such a mess of the Earth, life still finds a way to come back. Fabulous movie, and I'd highly recommend it.
