fascinating but too long

I found the subject of this unique location truly amazing. Unfortunately, for me and my preteen son, it was way too long and obtuse. The singing got to be a bit much also. I know other reviewers are exhorting praise all over the movie and the moviemaker. I think it could have been just as effective if it didn't have the last half hour in it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

My family and I definitely enjoyed the movie, with all its special effects and action. My 12 year old son was worried about some of the sad parts. Some of it was a bit tedious, but overall, a great experience. Obviously, we can't wait to see the second half!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My family enjoyed this movie. I thought it was pretty much over the top with action, but that is what I had expected. The plot was hard to follow and hear. I think my younger son enjoyed it the most!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie ought to strike a chord with those of us who have ever thought about past loves and what if... Meryl Streep is amazing in her ability to let us feel as if things onscreen were happening to us. And bravo to Alec Badwin for letting us see him in less than perfect physical shape. The other characters were okay in their background status. John Krasinski was cute in his role as family mediator.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fun Summer Family Movie!!
I've seen the movie twice already. It is definitely worth seeing it in an IMAX theater, if possible. Naturally, the special effects are far superior to those in the original movie and series and the sound track is killer. I enjoyed the similarities of the current actors to the previous ones.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who likes quirky movies with lots of character development. I think Amy Adams and Emily Blunt were both perfect for their roles. It is pretty amazing that Ms Adams is able to show such a different side of her acting ability than being Cinderella!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Silly, but fun

This movie had some surprises in it, that we enjoyed. Will Smith was fairly low key, and it was great to get to see his physique! It seemed to appeal more to my adolescent son than to me, since some of the background didn't make a whole lot of sense, but the action scenes were pretty cool. I wish it could have been less violent. The ending was a little too trite for my tastes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
