The Dark Knight is the best movie of the 2008 summer blockbusters. It has everything a good movie should have. An intriguing plot, deep characters and stimulating visuals.
The plot is a dark journey as Batman deals with a kind of villian he has never faced before and tries to figure out how to stop his greatest villian of all time as he reeks havoc upon Gotham as it feels its pulling itself out of the dark hole of gang corruption and fear. But Batman isn't alone in the fight, Harvey Dent, the radical and daring guiding light leads the public in the fight against evil. But all is not right in Gotham. The desperate gang member leaders seek an end to Batman and Dent's obliteration of their organizations, they turn to the Joker to take care of things and bring fear back into the city. The plot takes many unexpected twists and turns that push the Dark Knight to the breaking point as he is forced to watch many innocent lives destroyed and lost in his fight against crime.
