Expertly crafted movie

A Prophet is one of the best movies I have seen in the past 10 years. It belongs to be mentioned alongside movies like The Godfather, Godfather Part II and Goodfellas. Truthfully there was not one element of this movie that wasn't handled correctly.
The rise of Khalim's status within the ranks of the prison mafia is both interesting and shocking. The traumatic events which he experiences early on begin to slowly shape him into a cunning member who ultimately outsmarts those above him.
Ridiculously good acting, even in the minor roles. Excellent script; Great directing and cinematography. This movie is brutal and complex. A must see and one of the best of the year.

It sucked

It was garbage. Sadly. And I even lowered my expectations. All three major players are to blame: Lucas, Spielberg and Ford. Someone should have recognized how bad the script was. Sad.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
