The keen sting of youthful love

I watched this movie with my best friend and his teenage daughter (14 yrs old this August). It was so funny watching teenager love and angst depicted so well, without all of the stupid stuff you see in other movies. We teased her throughout the movie about it. Considering that this novel was about growing up and becoming what you are meant to be, it was really good on several levels. I wish they had explained why the Half Blood Prince was named that, like in the book. That information is crucial to the upcoming movies. I hope the DVD puts those scenes back into the movie or explains it for those who did not read the books. i read them, and I will go back to the novels to relish how good this series is for all ages.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I saw this movie with 3 other friends and we all agree. It was fantastic! I can't believe it was 2 hours 43 minutes long. It felt like only 90 minutes. I see a lot of movies, in particular action flicks. This one by far had great writing, character development, acting and OMG, scenery. How often does a movie fan get ART in an "Action Film?" It is a great DRAMA that has Action and Graphic VIOLENCE. It is not for children or those who act child-like. I have never read the GN's. WOW, you've made a fan of me for life. Now that's an investment gone right!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
