This movie was amazing! Much closer to the book (with exceptions that make sense for the movies) which made it extremely satisfying.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 is Warner Bros. 'my bad' for The Half-Blood Prince. Thank you!

Surprisingly good movie!!

We went to this movie since my daughter wanted to see yet another princess movie. With three boys, two fo them teenagers, I was prepared to hear a lot of moaning and groaning about being bored. Surprisingly, we laughed a lot during this movie and truly found it to be a great movie! The storyline was very funny and had a lot of jokes for the whole family.
The music was great and even had my unromantic hubby holding my hand during the ballroom scene. My heavy metal loving teens bought the soundtrack and added it to their My Space page.
We are definately looking forward to buying this on DVD when it comes out.
My only complaint would be with Disney's marketing department. My younger son and daughter came out of the movie looking to buy a playset so they could 'recreate' the movie at home. Disney has very little in the way of toys for them to play with and no playsets at all. Nor did they had the soundtrack. We had to go to another store to buy it. Disney missed the money boat on that one!

Very cute family movie!

Very cute family movie. The kids laughed and the adults could appreciate the jokes. Being a fan of Alvin & the Chipmunks as a child, this was a nice, updated version.
