Just like reading the book

HP7 Pt 1 is a very emotional and sometimes disturbing film which stayed very true to the book. Sure, the pace was slower than any of the other movies but that is how it was written. If you loved the book, you'll enjoy this film. If you didn't read it, you may be bored or confused at times. I wouldn't suggest bringing younger children because there are some pretty gruesome injuries and a couple of deaths to beloved characters that were quite sad. I wish I didn't have to wait until July to see that fabulous ending on the big screen but I'm glad they split it into two movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
