I saw this movie and was thrilled. I though the effects were quite cool, the acting was good, and the story was actually respectful to the origional series. That being said, the things that made this movie great, also gave it some problems. The movie seemed to try and cover too much too fast. It was easy to feel a little rushed through the story...but that being said, except for Star Trek II, this movie is now at the top of my list of favorite Sci-fi movies
Yes, I recommend this movie.
