Have you ever been forced to watch someone's wedding video? well if you have and you enjoyed the experience then go see Rachel Getting Married. I felt like i was the date of one of the bridesmaids and i was trapped in the house of this dysfunctional family. There were so many elements in this movie. there were too many cooks in the writing kitchen. I mean they used every idea including the kitchen sink. and the interracial, buddhist wedding attended by vegas show girls is just the tip of the ice berg.
What a great movie, for both the believer and non-believer. Bill asks pertenent questions others are wondering and/or have been scared to ask. why is the very thing that supposed to bring us together, religion, also the very thing that incites wars, hate, and separatism? Go see this movie, christian, jew, muslim, or atheist. The discussions that follow will make you realize some things are just Religulous!
whoever wrote this should be shot, or devote their life to "made for television" movies because thats exactly what this felt like. this movie was a wannabe "sex in the city" movie, but turned out to be a rediculous waste of time and money. If this movie is ever shown again it should only be shown on Lifetime television right before the "golden girls". how sad for everyone involved.
