This movie was so much fun. Julie Walters and Colin Firth stole the show. They had me laughing out loud, and Meryl Streep's rendition of "The Winner Takes It All" was riveting, reminding you why she is one of the finest actors working today. At times, I did feel that some of the movements and choreography were theater stage big, but that did not at all detract from the lovely, fun ride that was this movie. And it's hard to beat an ABBA song.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
