As a big Lewis Carroll fan, I was impressed by how faithful the story was to Carroll's original feel and heart of the story. While the movie had a significantly more structured plot than the book, it definitely enhanced what was already great, and it even added new layers. I really appreciated the work done here.
I am a minor-league Bond-Geek. I have watched and rated all the Bond movies. I would not want ALL future Bond flicks to be this dark, but I thought that Quantum of Solace did--what it set out to do--well. The depth was good. I am also a HUGE fan of lighter Bond films, and I hope that we'll see some "Moore" goofiness in the future, but this was a nice installment. I'd buy it. :o)
