What a way to go out!

I was really blown away at just how "dark" of a level Heath Ledger brought The Joker to. I always remembered The Joker as an annoying character from the sitcom with Adam West. This was so far from that! He was a true vilIain in every sense of the word. I realize that I'm leaving out every other charachter in the movie but Heath really stole the show! It's terrible that movies lost such a great actor, but what a great way to go out!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
