though the movie has this unexpected indie feel, it is actually appreciated for that matter. the characters are so lovable, it is hard not to want to be involved. it evokes the emotions presented in the book, and it sticks to its plot in a wonderful way that makes sense, even if it's not verbatim. there is one scene i would have like to see differently, and i'd take Stephenie Meyer's very distracting quick appearance out, but even with that, the movie is worth seeing!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
