I really enjoy Tolkien's world and am always happy to be a part of it, and this time was mostly a pleasure. My only issues with it are that the creatures were a little too "cute" for me, I think it was the CGI that made them so. They weren't as menacing as in the previous 3 movies and I think they should be. The other issue is that it didn't quite have the "majesty" of the previous 3 movies. I wasn't overwhelming swept up in the story and scenery as I was before. Maybe this will be better the next time I see it, or in the subsequent films. But really, I enjoyed it very much anyhow. That's all that kept it from getting 5 stars.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
