My husband and I both loved this movie. I can't imagine anyone else other than Clint Eastwood playing the lead role. There was a lot of humor, so we were laughing much of the time, but was also dramatic and thought provoking as well. Liked the unexpected twist at the end, too. Would highly recommend it!
My husband and I both really liked this movie. Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman were excellent. Scenery was breathtaking. Had no idea of the type of prejudice that was going on in Australia during that time period. Really enjoyed the little boy's acting who played "Nallah." Would recommend it to everyone; we did not think it was too long at all. Will be buying it on DVD when it comes out.
I thought this was a very good movie. Other than Kirk Cameron, the acting wasn't very good, but I'm still glad I saw it. It was thought provoking for sure. I saw it three days ago and am still thinking about it. Everyone who is married should see this movie!
I went to see this with two of my dear friends that I've known over 30 years. The acting was good, the storyline kept you interested, and the lessons it attempted to impart are great for young women. It makes me want to read the books now. It was a little choppy and fast paced at times though, moving from one actress and her life to another a little too quickly and could be hard to follow. Overall though, very enjoyable and a good movie to see with your girlfriends.
