Bittersweet

As for me, a diehard Harry Potter BOOK fan, I can say that HPDH II as well as the entire series of HP movies is clearly the best movie adaptation of a book ever! The entire series is an instant classic, like the Wizard of Oz. The saddest part of all is that with the exception of pottermore.com it's finally over. I just may have to reread the books to get my HP fix on.
A job well done by JKR and all of the folks involved with the movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Another Home Run

The Best One Yet!
Without a doubt these movies are the best adaptations from a book ever. The casting is spot on. Daniel, Emma, and Ruppert have all grown in to fine actors. I can hardly wait for the final 2 movies.......
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Well, it didn't stink

Did I have a good time? Yes. Was it a waist of money? No. Would I recomend it to others? Yes.
Was it the best movie I have ever seen? Hardly! Journey to the Center of the Earth is to Action Adventure movies, as are dime store romance rags to a really good novel.
In a word the movie was soft. They could have used the extra 30 minutes they had left in the 2 hour time block to pack in more action and suspence. Like I said, I enjoyed the movie, but I left the theatre hungry for more. As the credits rolled I thought, "That's it?"
