I would agree that some of the imaginery could scare young children, but for those older than 8 or 9 they will like the story. Outside of a couple of technical flaws the crutch is used for the wrong leg and a couple of other minor mistakes it is well worh the money. We did not see in it 3 d, but the last movies I sawed in 3d only had about 10 minutes of the movie in3d. I did miss the rhyming game, but that is okay. the dissolution of Chruistmas present could bother people. Perhaps vahishing would have been better.

A good time was had buy all not your usual blood and guts. Actually has a plot and a story to tell. Some thought actually when into developing a story line. Not as gory and blood filled as most.. Not for those less than 5, but will probably do well in the video run. Harrison made the movie work. Of course there is some eye candy, but the young ladies actually have a purpose in the overall development of the plot.. Worth the time quick and easy while entertaining

Be Patient

I went to this movie and watch people leave after about 20-25 minutes. It is slow at first and gains momentum as the story develops.The character reminded me of another movie "The Visitor" where the lead character really has nothing going on in his life. He is a very bland and boring charcter. He makes a soul searching decision that hints at service to a group which will changes a groups lives forever, but maybe at the cost of your own.the action at the end is as good as it gets. Just remember to be patient.

a fun movie

After the 300 I did not know what to expect from Mr Butler, but found his acting abilities surpassed just growling and snarling at the camera. Miss Heigt was engaging and entertaining as the producer of a television program. However, I found the thought that we could find the love of our life even if we do not present the IMAGINE questionable. Since you only get 1 shot at making a first impression. To have one accepted without the make-up and posturing is really true love which I think takes time to develop, It is still one of the better movies that I have seen this summer.

The Next Generation

I am a little late reviewing it, but I am sure it will do well in the video circuit. It was better than most of the series that we have seen. There was a good story line and the characters had reasons for their actions. The cameo by "Spock" was okay .I can see this new generation providing us with new stories for years to come. The movie is good ,entertaining and well-thought out.

Dog gone

I had not been to a 3D movie in along time so that was a good touch. Maybe a little too intense for those younger than 5 with the dog attacks. Good intertainment for pre-teens. a little to in your face about lifes lessons with the wife, but I thought the relationship between pseudo boy scout and the old man was plays good. Overall I thought it was well done. The story line had been scripted throughty and was completely reasonable. I would highly recommend it for preteens, young adults, but I would discuss the movie a little bit before recommending it for older friends

I personally like it better than DaVinci Code. I thought the Davinci was a litle slow about two thirds thru the story where he visits the old friend. However, this movie does not suffer such a slow down. I just wish Ewan McGregor would pick some roles where he sings again. He is creditable as the long suffering associate of the pope. Initially one would never suspect him of anything, but what he seems. it was entertaining seeing the familiar Roman places while hearing about their history. I am sorry, but it did not seen over 2 hours long. The script kept your attention and left you wondering as to what would happen next,no one left their seat. What can you write about Tom Hanks, he is excellent with two oscars to prove it.

Better than 1st X-men

Actually an action movie with a story to tell. Maybe it was that it was focused on one character and the one I found most interesting.The story dealing with his life before X-men was brief and concise, but it still left many unanswered questions about how this happened to Wolverine. The movie develops enough threads that there can be the further adventures of Wolverine.

a 70's movie

When I first saw the out takes I thought that this could be an interesting movie, however I thought the pacing of the movie was a little slow. The acting was good and believable, but todays typical audience 15 to 30 expects a little more action. Some scenes were well done example the threat of the knife fight, the fireworks on the hill and most of the scenes envolving Bill Hader. It was a movie for an afternoons entertainment, but not a movie that you would think about or ponder over.

Being unfamiliar with this venue I was not sure what to expect. Definately for adults. It was a very violent movie, but if you looking for a hero movie along the lines of Saw then this is the movie for you. If you are looking for action heros like Superman or Spiderman or even Woverine this is not your movie.
