Final Chapter-too bad

I thought that this was an excellent movie. I read one review about someone who took and 11 month old? I sat at the end of a room of 4-6 year olds and they laughed and giggled and basically were very entertained with the movie.I heard a number of adults lol during the movie LIght entertainment well after the bad news every day, we need s lttle light enterainment. great movie . Provides diversion from the real world for a while.

not the Robin Hood of Old

Excellent movie I had read reviews that Crowe and Blanchett were not believable. I think the pacing of thier relationship was appropirate. The story with historical overtones was excellent. Everything was tied together no loose ends. The battles scenes were well done. The were a few subtle laughs, but humor is not the aim of the movie The flow and characters were well developed and interesting. I kept looking for flaws but I did not see any the accents may have been a little weak, but other wise excellent

If only the story was better

The scenery was great. The special effects were what we have come to expect in this type of movie. The first movie is campy and fun That is what most people thought. It was fun and it was played that way. This movie was of a more serious nature except the presentation of the gods. Hades was good, Zeus lacked something presence or overall impresion. The movie was not fun enougth to be campy or good enough to be serious it just lacked enough planning

This is a very good movie. I have read that it is too long, the only scene that I think could to shortened is the first boat scene. The flow was good and it kept the viewer engaged. Dicaprio was excellent and so was Kinglsey. The explanations given by Kingsley and the ending were excellent. It left you wondering what exactly was the lead character obligation to society and to himself. It was far better movie than some of the profession critics reviews that I read.

I was really disapointed by the movie. The plot had a few new twists, but I really did not get envolved with Benico Del Toro character. Anthony Hopkins was great and I thought that Hugh Weaving really was remarkable in a supporting role. The pace generally was good, the special effects were excellent. The staging & props were also excellent. Would I watch it again maybe on a DVD

I was a little concerned that this movie would be about Mr Gibson going after the killer(s) in a fast and furious manner. But it did not happen. I thought it would be a different slant on "Taken" but it was not. Mr Gibson was very good in this movie. I do wish the current relationship between the daughter and father had been a little more developed and not so much film from the past. I think the sense of lose would had been better felt by the audience. The flow of the movie was very good and the pacing was also good I did not know about the ending whether it add to the overall effect of the movie or diminished it. I think the individual will have to make up their own mind.

I have always enjoyed musical even when they do not have much of a plot. I thought the singing and dancing were very entertaining and is that not worth going to see. I do not think that every movie that is made, needs a message to be worth while. I did not know that Dam Dench and Daniel Day lewis could sing. When I saw Mr Day-Lewis in Telluride he was such a laid back person. I thought he did his charecter well. He conformed to what most people think a director would be like. Hudson and Kidman were great. Cruz is exquisive

not an epic, but good

I thought the use of black and white was effective, but a little too much after a while. I thought the plot was good and reasonable considering the flaws of the lead character. Feeling the warm of the sun on the face., highten hearing and other senses were suttle clues. The end was very good. Some movies I have seen were very good until the end example Bad Lieutenant, but the ending of The book of Eli was excellent.

excellent, fun, entertaining, engaging, thoughful, entergetic,funny, I will have to see again to catch all of the lines. Downey and Law had a good play off each other. The characters are well developed. Anyone who has an interest in Holmes should be interested in seeing another portrayal of the famous dectective.

excellent in all aspects

The visual effects are superb especially in 3d. This time the extra charge is worth the money.Good story line and interesting characters with a sense of humor. I followed two ages 10-12 boys out of the theatre and they were talking 100 words a minute about the movie. Best picture maybe in that catagory. A true winner and yes I would go to it again.
