Crazy good. Creepy. Sad.

I think that this is one of Martin Scorsese's best. Never boring, full of great actors (Max von Sydow!!), and I did wonder what his crazy dreams had to do with anything--a lot it turned out. Dennis Lehane knows how to construct a good story and Scorsese knows how to show it. It's typical of Scorsese with his in-your-face style. It seems to go in several different directions but it's going a completely different path than you really think. Story within a story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Hilarious! Absolute riot!

Simple plot, but Steve Carell (Maxwell Smart, Agent 86), Anne Hathaway (Agent 99), Alan Arkin (The Chief), and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (Agent 23) deliver on target! I'm definitely buying this DVD when it comes out. It's full of non-stop laughs & it doesn't have a single dull moment-- I love the laser scene! And I know that I missed some of the jokes because I was laughing my socks off at a previous one. I totally recommend it! And I adored Patrick Warburton's cameo. Great stuff all around! XD
