i saw avatar for the first time in 2D and just saw it for the 2nd time in 3D. watching it in 3D was like watching it for the first time. i loved it! the 3D was not distracting. it eased you into the 3D at the beginning so you could get used to it, and then just pulled you into the movie. i liked that it didn't throw 3D stuff in there just for the heck of it. it really made you feel as if you were in the movie. now i want to see it in IMAX 3d!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

new moon was a MUCH better adaptation of the book than twilight. the direction was a lot better. the effects were better too. i thought kristin did a better job acting and rob did a worse job. overall, much enjoyed and i will watch many more times.
