While I would argue that this movie is far too dark for very young children, I do think that anyone who can handle the darkness of the film will fully enjoy this movie. The story is tweaked a bit, but what results is an entirely new take on the story of Alice and her time here. I absolutely loved this film. I often enjoy Tim Burton's works, but this one quite literally takes the cake. He has gone absolutely above and beyond for us this time.
Go see it, but leave the little ones at home.
