Incredible performance from Sean Penn. Unlike Tom Cruise who is always Tom Cruise, Penn becomes the character and is completely believable. He, Penn, is constantly changing, adapting, convincing in whatever part he is playing and in this movie, one forgets that he is watching a movie instead of a documentary. It is extremely difficult to 'be" somebody else, but Penn carries it off. An Academy Award performance.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
