Wait for the video

This is a movie you can wait for the video and watch it at home. Unless you have young kids 6-11 this is not a film to pay $10 per ticket or more to go see.
I laughed in a couple of spots that is why it got a 3. Predictable, you can see most of the jokes coming amile away. The talking ape is very poorly done and not believable. It just looks like a guy in costume.
Save your money for Harry Potter or even Horrible Bosses. I would go see Super 8 again before wasting money on this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It's Mater Time

If you like Larry the Cable Guy or Mater you will like this movie. I love the british spys and the accents adds to the movie. Mater has a much bigger role and there is humor when ever he is around and accidents and goof ups. He is like a loveable kid who always seems to goof things up but it comes out okay. Take the kids but some of the humor will be over their heads. Enjoy another top notch cartoon by the best in animation.

Action Movie of the Summer

This is the best one of the 3. Love the new girl and she is just hot hot hot. Action is as hot. Great battle scenes and action. Some very good humor. Only thing is Shia screaming once is okay 5 or 6 times gets a little tiring. My teen daughter went and loved it. Saw it in 3-d and it was very comfortable and well done - it is an enhancement and not a distraction. Wish they would quit charging so much more for it thou. Go enjoy - have a great time - as they say it is not rocket science but it ROCKS!!!!

Penguins Pops with Proper Fun

I am a Jim Carey fan when he is on and in this movie he is on- very funny things are happening all the way thru and the penguins almost steal the show. They are great and it is amazing what they can teach them for a few fish. Take the family, take anyone you want and have a good time - as you know I do not reveal plots so I don't ruin things. This is a fun movie and my 18 year old daughter loved it as well.

Horrible - Gross and Painful

I saw the first one with a college guys soccer team and we all laughed so hard my sides hurt. This one the only thing that hurt was my eyes and head trying to watch it. If you r into Tranny jokes and their anatomy exposed - all of it then you might like this. Allan in this one stinks - he is a jerk all the way thru and not funny. The story line has a couple of funny moments but usually with the monkey. It is making tons of money so I sure they will have a 3rd one - let us hope that they fix some things like the jokes - I don't find losing a finger funny. Wait for DVD don't waste your money!!!

Don't believe the critics

I saw Green Lantern at midnight in 3-D opening night and had a blast. Do not believe the critics on this one. Everyone in a packed theater came out saying how much fun it was and how great it was to have Green Lantern in the movie mix. The movie opens with an explanation narrative of what the Green Lantern is and about the bad guy.
Ryan does a very good job (not great) on playing the character and he will develop even better in the next film.
Special FX are very solid and the story line is pretty good. I won't spoil things - hang thru part of the credits to see an xtra scene. It is entertaining and fun what a summer movie should be. Not what a critics movie should be - because then we wouldn't want to see it.

ET on Steroids or Alien Roid Rage

This is alot like ET and Close Encounters but upgraded with modern special FX. Great story line - kids are believable and fun.
The military is treated rather mean and killing our own people makes them the bad guys.
The movie moves along well and has some very fun moments.
How many guys had a crush on a girl in middle school? Okay all of us (that are straight anyway) The movie made me think back to my crush days.
Language is the only thing I didn't like throwing out an F-bomb in a family movie. So be aware of that. Could be a classic hit

Kung Fu Panda Masters Laughs

Loads of fun and laughs, great for all ages. My 18yr old didn't want to go thinking it was for little kids but I made her go. Watching her laughing thru the movie and having her admit I was right and it would be fun was great. Score one for Dad. You want to see this in 3D it has some cool stuff but it is still funny even in 2 D. Go enjoy and bring the teenagers drag them if you have too they will like it.

OOOHH LA LA PARIS

I just got back from a week in Paris and went to see this movie. I saw places I had been to and that was alot of fun. Paris is a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there - to much smoking everywhere.
The movie was romantic and had alot of cute moments. I usually don't write about specific exact things in the movie so I don't spoil it for you. Owen does a very good job. If you like him you will love the movie if not it still is worth a date night.

X-Men has Class Act

I enjoyed X-men and how they developed the start for most of the characters. They set it up for the Trilogy for sure. Great battle sequences and mixed with humor it was alot of fun.
After another strong week this movie has staying power and I would go back to see it again. My daughter loved it and wants to go again.
