While yes, it does leave out some of my favorite moments of the book, I have to say this was the best movie of the series.
The balance of darkness with humor, the sets with all the tiny details, and the overall appearance of the movie was just excellent.
Rupert, Emma, and Daniel have definitely come of age in their acting skills. Tom Felton and Bonnie Wright really showed us diversity in their characters as well.
I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. It wasn't perfect - but it was a great movie that really captured the spirit of the books. It doesn't use the book as a script, but it does follow along the general plot for the vast majority of it.
The movie's main disappointment was the visual effects. They were just ok, but not great - probably not even good. I found them distracting.
