Amusing, but falls short of what it should be.

I was looking forward to Amy Poehler as the trailer-trash delight she so often plays on SNL, but her performance, as well as Fey's, was too subdued. It's not their fauly entirely -- the script was also too lame/tame.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
