I have to give this movie some respect for pulling off what easily could have been a major disaster. It basically is a comic book movie that plays out like a video game with likable characters and hilarious dialog. Mix that with over-the-top action, flashy effects, and awesome music that manages not to annoy. You don't have to like video games to enjoy the movie, nor will the humor be lost on you. Really, there's something for everyone. Me and my wife watched it together and we both enjoyed it often laughing for different reasons at the same scene. I hope more people go see it because I would love to see more movies like this with some originality. It may not be anything like you'd expect, but it doesn't disappoint either.

Movie was pretty trippy. Creative and interesting imagery, with logical and easy to follow story. Obviously, the story revolves around Leo's character, who was fantastic as Don Cobb. However, I do wish more time had been spent to develop the other characters who managed to be likeable without us knowing hardly anything about them. I can understand though, that the movie is already 2 1/2 hours long; so to add anymore would have been way too much.
The special effects are mesmerizing without looking fake or like an obvious CG creation. There are a surprising number of actions sequences as well. I could go on and on about the positives of this movie, but it's seems rare to find such a solid movie as this one. Easily the best movie I've seen this year!
