A tale of humanity

Wall-E is a love story set amidst a plot that focuses on current day environmental issues.
Many people will weigh in on its environmental message, but that is not the main focus, nor is it what keeps the audience interested. That is just the back drop.
At its core, Wall-E is a robot striving for perfection while wading through the refuse of an imperfect world. As he moves through his environment he finds things in the remains he is tasked to clean up and collects them. It is this interaction that allows him to develop a singular nature that touches so many others throughout the film. He becomes human-like in his existence.
That is what makes the love story so touching. That existence seeks companionship. You want this human-inspired little robot to get the girl and find happiness. Even alone, separated from humanity, and having no real understanding of the universe around him, it is Wall-Es nature that carries him forward.
That is why this movie will be very popular, because it is us up there.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Better than expected. I was afraid the previews showed most of the movie, but there was plenty left to see. Great acting- Downey and Bridges really pulled it together with top notch performances. The plot moved the movie forward well. Stay until after the credits. Well worth seeing- a fun movie for the whole family.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
