This movie definitely had its low points, but the high points were very high. Great acting by all, Anne Hathaway gives a stellar performance like nothing she's ever done before. I also thoroughly enjoyed Rosemarie DeWitt.
I do agree that the handheld camera work lent itself to some serious queasiness and a slight headache. It could have definitely been minimized. There were also a few scenes that went on way too long.
This movie is definitely not for everyone, but if you are looking for strong performances and a great character study, please consider Rachel Getting Married.
