So much in this movie: The idea of someone moving towards something that all human instincts tell us to avoid. How children grow up in a war zone and don't even consider that they might be in danger because it's just the way life is. Psychologically, what makes a person want to volunteer for such a position. The tension built by the techniques behind the filming. The little bits, such as the flies in the desert, that keep you in suspense. Well acted. Definitely not just another war movie. I just wish David Morse had been in more than one scene.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
