The concept of this movie is fantastic and it was well executed. Excellent performances from all involved. I was a little confused at the end about a few things and I had a hard time piecing it all together. But then I figure....In a movie about crazy people does it really have to make sense?
I cant believe I sat through this whole thing. Its WAY too long makes absolutely NO sense and gets dumber as it drags on. Definately one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
I liked this movie alot but left the theater rather unsatisfied. The acting was great and I really felt connected with the characters. The film however ends very abruptly leaving ALOT of important questions unanswered (just like an episode of lost). At NO point do you find out the significance of the baby or the extent of the destruction/deathtoll on humanity. If you are inclined to see it....thats fine just dont expect a meaningful or detailed ending.
Had a few "amusing" moments but I hated this movie for very personal reasons. I figured the world was ravaged by disease and the cure for it was in this book. I cant say anything else without giving the movie away. Its not like anyone is going to read this. Some people will love this movie and eat this garbage up. But I find the ideology and concept of this film...repulsive.
Well..it was worth the ten years and 400 million dollars. I must admit the only downside of the movie is that the uglyness of humanity becomes difficult to watch. This is a must see especially in theaters.
What a dumb movie. This one will be in the $3.99 bin right next to "The day after tomorrow" in no time. Good special effects here and there but it doesnt make up for the 2 hour and forty minute session of p/ss/ng and moaning. Watching incompetent people who place too much value on thier lives scurry about trying to overcome an imminent death is not my idea of entertainment. These big budget films nowadays rely on special effects while putting no thought into anything else. I dont recommend this film to anyone under any circumstances.
Went to see this by the reccomendation of a friend and im done listening to this person. A few good moments here and there but nothing new. Didnt care for the ending....walked out VERY unsatisfied. P.S. why isnt Jamie Foxx dead yet? Have had quite enough of him. Gerard Butler put forth a good performance but apparently Me and the folks who make movies nowadays....Just aint clickin'. Maybe Im gettin too old. SKIP IT!!!
This film is dark and angry but goes nowhere with it. Has a few moments but it isnt what i expected based on previous reviews. The end is very unsatisfying and just doesnt justify the means.
Stupid 80s movie that needs to stay there. A bunch of high school kids that show up for saturday detention then spend the whole movie whining about how thier life sucks. I connect most with the guy who was upset about these sorry turds being the future of our country. Well its 25 years later and the world is a sorry place indeed.
