Blah..didnt care for this movie...big mess lame acting..dont care about the avengers...Saw it in the theater with a bunch of idiots making noise..shoulda skipped it.
Ok so its been a REAL disappointing summer. There are several big movies the past few months that have turned out to be a total waste of time. They should have led the summer with this one not ended it. Regardless,, for those of you expecting big things from this movie rest assured that your expectations will be met. I loved the first expendables and this one is even better!!! This movie includes all the action you can handle but they threw some serious heart into the mix as well this time. There is alot of warmth and humor on top of everything that was great about the first film. This is easily the best movie Ive seen in a very long time...It is absolutely worth a trip to the theater..and it is an immediate must see!!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, action packed, great character development, builds perfectly onto the first film
Its quite clear that the creators of these 3 films blew their collective wad on the second one. This was slow dull and very boring. The first two grabbed hold and didnt let go..this one just dragged on and on. I found myself dozing off several times..and I wasnt the only one. The action was non-existent..And what should have been the best part was the worst= "Bane" was pathetic at best. The character development was extremely poor and that silly mask he has on along with his stupid voice makes him very hard to understand. The ending was somewhat satisfying but getting to that point was downright agony. I found myself wishing that the film would hurry it up...DID NOT need to be almost 3 hours long. Ive seen the first two movies MANY times...I absolutely will not sit through this one again.
This movie had such potential but didnt use it. I cant believe that after 30 years this was all they could come up with. Its clear that many decisions were made by the person/people involved with "lost". So many questions and every one unanswered. No explanations of any kind were given. Just more questions raised. The movie was slow as hell at the start..there were a few moments that were visually stunning but the story dialogue and overall execution was poor at best. I had the highest hopes for this movie especially since Ridley Scott was involved..but its clear he has either lost it..or wasnt as involved as he should have been. This was a total bomb..and Im going to have to disregard its existence when I watch the original Alien. I will not sit through this film again...it was that bad.
I was a kid during the original..while it didnt make sense at the time..it is still embedded deep in my heart and mind. I spent the last year looking forward to this ..and it didnt disappoint. Obviously along with the first..this is a very visual movie..THE best parts again are the gaming sequences. Definately going to see it again..I have NOTHING bad to say about it..and if you check my other reviews..You will find that to be an inconsistency.
Ok I went and saw this because a friend told me I HAD to run out and see it right away. Reviews here suggested the same thing. I just got back. It was OK..NOTHING MORE!!! This movie was NOT exciting or gripping it was SLOW. I keep hearing the words Point break. NONSENSE!!! Point break was fun. I dont know what kind of meds you people are on...but I thnk its time to be re-evaluated. NOT worth a trip to the theater and NOT worth ANY of the silly hype. Great acting and some good moments but left the theater with two thoughs in mind...BLAH and Whoop Dee Doo...BIG deal.
This movie was cool.....Its been getting RAVE reviews and while it is worth seeing its nothing to jump up and down about. Sometimes some of the things they talk about or do become hard to follow. FANTASTIC acting I will tell you that much. Enjoyed everyones performance and at no point does any of it feel unnatural or forced. Left the theater feeling ...OK...wasnt blown away but was entertained..which is about all you can expect these days.
Typical sequel. This is what happens when you take the ideas of the previous film and spread them out too thin. In the attempt to make a grander spectacle they ramp up the "intensity" and all that manages to do is make the film more "busy". Rourke was by far and away the best part of this one....I enjoyed his character tremendously. Did NOT care for the Rhodey replacement AT ALL. Worth a look for sure but not near as good as the first. Oh..Im not a comic book geek either so that little "scene" after the credits....makes NO sense.
