Excellent movie! Heath Ledger's turn as the Joker is legendary! You can't recognize the actor in this role and he really showed his range as an actor. Bring on the acting nominations!! I believe that there is no role that Christian Bale can't nail and I think he shines as the Dark Knight! I enjoyed this movie more than the first, it was way more dark. One thing I love about Chris Nolan's work is his "organic-ness". Nothing looks too forced even when Heath Ledger is in a nurses uniform setting explosions off, it looks...natural! Some of the scenes in this movie literally took my breath away. Another thing I enjoy about this movie is the caliber of the supporting cast! Great actors supporting actors who are on their way to being Oscar winners of the future. Bale should have been at least nominated already with turns in The Prestige, 3:10 to Yuma and Rescue Dawn.
Great movie! Look forward to the next. Bravo to Christopher Nolan for making a really cool movie. Bravo to the cast for delivering great/legendary performances! I will end it with a prediction....Heath Ledger will get at least recognized if not rewarded for a performance of a lifetime, literally!
