Well produced but not all that. There's still a hollowness to this enterprise, despite the best efforts of Craig, Dench and Bardem. There's nothing about the material that causes any recognizable human emotion. So it's a lush, pleasant cash grab, but a cash grab nonetheless, and you feel it as you leave the theatre.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
