While the storyline is a bit far fetched, it clearly demonstrates the age old religion versus science controversy. This entertaining movie is in constant motion having the viewer at the edge of his seat diverting his attention away from the weak storyline. While Hanks' performance was very good, as in, he played Langdon as Langdon was supposed to be played, it wasn't his typical memorable performance obviously limited by the storyline.
The costume and production design is superb, complimenting the action in the film.
All in all, a very entertaining engaging film with a few surprises.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
