Although you may benefit from seeing Alien movies prior to watching Prometheus it is not necessary. I saw the 3D version-did not enhance the story at all. Story can stand on its own regardless of third dimension effects. When will the movie producers learn that it takes a particular kind of story to use 3D integrally?
I wish Noomi Rapace a long film career; I like her.
