A little slow, a little predictable, and a little boring. Weak dialogue, but good performance from Clint and Amy Adams. Seems like there was no chemistry between Amy Adams and Justin Timberlake. The story has some holes, including - what is the point of the charging horse??
I wans not impressed, and think most people could easily wait until this is out on cable. The scenery is very beautiful, but that is not enough to sustain me for two hours.
It is hard to be as disappointed as we were following this movie. None of the characters are likable, and none pass the "who cares test" where you ask yourself if you care what happens to these people 20 minutes into the movie. Missing the quirky charm of Fargo. Missing the riveting seat of the pants fear of No Country For Old Men. Missing any interest at all. NEAR (Not Even A Rental)!
A pathetic example of the musical genre gone wrong. Actors who can't sing trying to sing songs that don't go with the plot. An abysmal waste of time and money. Have your fingernails pulled from your hands instead of seeing this dreadful example of movie making gone horribly wrong.
