For kids, and for Daddy's. Rodrick's explaination of how to "break the rules" to Greg is classic. Loded Diper!

This movie is an absolute blast

I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a "Trekie", "Treker", or whatever they prefer to be called these days, not did I go through the whole movie nitpicking, looking for gaffes, flaws, unfaithfulness to the original. What I did was to have a blast with my son, 5 years old, and my mother. There are a couple of "scary" scenes. But, what a magnificent science fiction vision, and yes, Gene Rodddenberry would indeed be very proud.
PS- the green girl, Ulhura's roommate? A perfect nod to Kirk's fondness for green alien women.
