Pretty True to the Book

There is no real action like in the previous movies.
They were able to get the idea of the book across even though they had to leave things out so that the movie wouldn't be 4 hours long.
I think they did a good job of staying true to the book. Love the way they bring the "love" interest of them being teenagers into the movie. It helps lighten up what you know is a turn toward the evil side gaining strength.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
