Some amusing bits, but overall the movie is longwinded and much of the dialog is hard to swallow. Mostly, I didn't care much for the cast of upper-middle-class characters--annoying twits mostly concerned about perfect croissants and the like. I couldn't buy into Streep's character - her formidable talents were mostly wasted. Nevertheless, some will like this lighthearted movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
