Barber features sharp performances

This production did not focus on fancy sets but on comedic timing and musicality. Even the minor roles were strongly played. Who could take their eyes off Mattei's Figaro even when he was not in the spotlight. Beautiful DiDonato, used the full range of facial expression evoking laughter, then tears, then passion and laughter again. Florez, amidst this tough competition, sang his heart like a nightingale in love.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
