I cannot recommend this movie enough, it was phenomenal.
The pacing was perfect, I was never bored. In many "team" movies, the first half-hour is kind of boring, while they assemble the team. This movie was exciting and gripping from start to finish.
The action was amazing to watch, I couldn't get enough.
The dialogue was great, and I laughed out loud several times. This was funnier than a lot of comedies I've seen.
And stay until after the credits, after ALL the credits- that is the best part!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, great action

IMAX 3-D Not Worth It

This movie is excellent, but the 3-D is only for the first 12 minutes (a fact they neglect to mention until you're sitting in the theater). Don't pay the extra money for the 3-D, it's not worth it.
The movie was very well done. They do compress some parts from the book, but if they didn't the movie would have been six hours long. They did a very good job keeping to the book's plot while keeping the movie at a respectable length.
The character interaction was touching and funny, the action was breathtaking, and some of the suspenseful parts will have you trying to remember to breathe.
An excellent movie, but the IMAX 3-D is NOT worth the extra money.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
