Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

The long awaited HP6 was disappointing. I have not read the book, but could clearly tell that it was just bits and pieces of a bigger picture.
Also, am tired of Helena Bonham Carter dominating things. Not sure why she was cast as Bellatrix, except that she is a name in england.
The movie does have its funny moments, and it has stellar performances from Alan Rickman and Michael Gambon. Would have like to have seen more from some of the veteran actors.
Overall, I came away somewhat depressed and disappointed at it.
