I like what Tim Burton did with this movie. It might be a little scary for the young kids (it is a Disney Produciton after-all), but Burton pushes the envelope once again. I would like to see if Alice comes back a third time to Wonderland and what adventures that holds for our herion.
Small vinettes, not like Magnolia or Crash, but it does string together at times. Enjoyed the NYC themes and scenes. Some really funny, cute and sweet moments. I would recommend it to any New Yorker.
The movie takes place in Iraq in 2004 so, things are bad there as we follow these "specialist" who dismantle bombs. The have internal conflict, conflict with the locals, conflict with their loved ones. It's a conflicted movie, full of intensity. An adrenaline rush from start to finish.
Captivated the entire time. The reverance for Jimmy Page was apparent but, each artist brought his own style to the movie. Thier life stories added so much more to the movie. Of course, I wish they had jammed even more!
Great movie, a must see if your are Trekie or not. The story is great, answers many looming questions about the origins of the Star Ship and it's crew. Kirk, Spock, Scotty, it has them all. It was a lot of fun a good night at the movies.
Amy Admas was great. Alan Arkin his usual dry self that reminds of someone we all know. Emily Blunt was refreshing and look forward to seeing more of her in the future.
