Yawn - I would recommend this movie to a friend for viewing at home. Therefore, if need be they could take a nap during the long slow parts. My family found it disappointing. I agree with other posters that Dumbledore's death and funeral should have received better treatment. The movie ends badly, but that's point anyway: to set it up for the next installment.

This movie was great fun for the 9 and under crowd I brought to the movies. Sure, the plot was predictable but the move was fun all the same. Just lots of adventure without overly frightening scenes, foul language or sexual content. I wish the superhero genre would take note. The 3-D effects were great, the kids kept trying to grab them. A must see in 3-D!
