Just stupid

Did this really need to be 2 and a half hours long? It didn't make a lick of sense and had a lot of cursing and low brow humor for a PG-13 movie. Way too drawn out and tedious. Even the robot fights got boring. Just plain stupid.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Not as good as the first

While this movie was pleasant enough, it did not have anywhere near as much humor or charm of the first film. The story was paper-thin and ultimately the characters did not develop much at all. There was none of the "fish out of water" elements were at the heart of the first film. It just had nowhere to go except a mediocre and predictable story that was unsatisfying. This would have been a decent straight-to-DVD release. But as a feature film, it just did not have enough to it.
Overall, like I said, it's a fine enough way to pass the time. I'm sure kids who loved the characters in the first film will enjoy seeing them do something new. But don't look for the same excitement or enjoyment they experienced the first time.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
