Just saw the movie yesterday afternoon with friends and just loved it. I was really worried because the movie was not getting good reviews. After seeing the movie and loving it, I realized that those reviews were from critics who probably never watched the series on HBO every season. True fans who watched the series wll love the movie. I can't wait to see it again!

I had high hopes for this movie, considering the era in which the movie is set. There were many disconnects from the time period. Plus I couldnt stop seeing Johnny's ear piercings, which could have been covered up. The movie was a big all over, but considering this was a Michael Mann movie, this was typical. HOWEVER the acting was top notch!! Another outstanding performance by Johnny!
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I loved the Da Vince Code a lot but Angels and Demons is by far the best!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The movie had me guessing until the very end. I will be seeing this movie many times in the coming weeks!

I thought the movie was really well done. I was hesitant about seeing it because of Tom Cruise, but he did a good job. I was disappointed that this was a movie set in Germany and none of the characters had a german accent. You had english, british and australian accents. If Tom could act with an irish in "Far and Away", why not a german accent for this movie. It would have made the movie more authentic for me.
